As we expand our operations into North America, specifically Canada, we are looking for dedicated professionals to join our team in the following positions:
Software Engineers
- Telecommunication Specialization (2 Positions)
Location: Canada
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain software applications for telecommunication systems, focusing on satellite communication technologies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet client requirements.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirement analysis and design to coding, testing, and deployment.
Optimize and enhance existing software systems to improve performance and reliability.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for software-related issues in communication systems.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development, preferably in the telecommunication sector.
Strong programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, Java, or similar.
Experience with telecommunications protocols, network programming, and satellite communication systems.
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Experience with satellite communication software development and integration.
Familiarity with Comtech, Memotec, and other industry-leading products.
Technical Engineer
- Telecommunication Technology
Location: Canada
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support satellite communication systems, including VSAT and earth station technologies.
Provide technical support and maintenance for satcom devices, ensuring seamless connectivity and reliable performance.
Work closely with the engineering team to develop system documentation, construction specifications, and training materials.
Participate in the commissioning, testing, and adjustment of communication devices.
Assist in the formulation and execution of engineering implementation plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in satellite communication technology.
Strong technical knowledge of satcom systems, including SCPC, MCPC, SCPC/DAMA, DVB/RCS, Hubless TDMA, RF systems, and spectrum analyzer systems.
Proficient in system integration, installation, and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred:
Experience with products from Comtech, UHP, Xicom, and related suppliers.
Familiarity with international satellite communication standards and practices.
Project Manager
- Canada Office
Location: Canada
Type: Full-Time
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the establishment and management of JSY’s Canada office, including market and user research, business strategy planning, and office operations.
Develop and execute business strategies tailored to the Canadian market, aligning with JSY’s global objectives.
Manage data analytics and reporting to inform strategic decisions and measure performance.
Coordinate the design and launch of a bilingual website (English and Chinese) and manage business activities in Canada.
Build and maintain relationships with business associations, government agencies, and key stakeholders in Canada.
Oversee projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Provide leadership and guidance to the Canada office team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in the telecommunications sector.
Proven track record of managing projects in an international setting, with experience working in both China and Canada.
Strong understanding of market dynamics in Canada, including government policies and business practices.
Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
Proactive and self-motivated with strong leadership abilities.
Experience with website development and digital marketing is a plus.
Preferred:
PMP certification or equivalent.
Experience in networking with business associations and government policy research.
